When is a shed not a shed?

Toronto Star

So this guy spies a garden shed, tears it apart, rebuilds it as a boat, floats in down a river, docks it, puts it back together as a garden shed, and wins the £25,000 ($50,000) Turner Prize for art in Britain. This feat by artist Simon Starling sheds new light on the importance of the garden shed. At its very worst, the garden shed is a punched out aluminum square annoying the hell out of you in the backyard. At its best, it is a beautiful place to pot, paint or ponder. If you are going to have a hunk of architecture on display in the backyard, you may as well make it pleasant to look at.
